Halifax Green Network Hikes 2023

Thank you for joining us for another great series of hikes! Stay tuned for next year's events.

Hike the "greenbelt" of Halifax

the logo of Our HRM Alliance

Urban Halifax has a fledging greenbelt - areas that should stay undeveloped for all the benefits they provide, including supporting a healthy, vibrant city. Our HRM Alliance is hosting hikes during fall 2023 at three key spots in the greenbelt: Blue Mountain - Birch Cove Lakes, Sandy Lake - Sackville River, and the Purcells Cove Backlands.

Registration for each hike is capped at 30 people. Registered participants will receive directions and final details by email two days before their hike.

If the hike you wish to register for is full, please fill out this form to be placed on a waitlist and notified in the event of cancelled registrations.
