Cassandra Piccolo

Cassie has been working in communications for the better part of a decade, most recently with Barefoot College International, where, for 7 years, she helped promote and advocate for their sustainably driven vocational education model for marginalized women from 95+ countries of the Global South.

She did her bachelor’s at the University of Guelph in Biology (plant science) and Fine Arts (photography major). Previously, she’s worked locally with Helping Nature Heal (Bridgewater) and The Deanery Project (Ship Harbour). She is now keen on supporting Nova Scotian environmental protection and local community-based activism.
