Read Emily's Bio
Emily is a passionate advocate for building collaborative networks focused on equity, empowerment, and sustainability. They believe that our best defense against climate change and other intersectional issues is cultivating community and solidarity through learning, listening and storytelling, and that the best way forward is always 'together'. Their path to the Ecology Action Centre spans over a decade of work in youth programming, social justice and leadership training & facilitation. They hold a BA (Honours) in Environment, Sustainability, and Society and have completed certificates in Intercultural Communication and Graphic Design. When Emily is not hard at work supporting the Directors and the variety of projects on the go at the EAC, they can be found most often with a book or sketchbook in hand, enjoying natural spaces or on a friend's porch with their dog, Mocha.
