Renée Fougère

Renée joins the Ecology Action Centre as an Offshore Wind Coordinator. Their background is rooted in academia, where they've monitored emissions and helped develop inventories for Canada's oil & gas and solid waste sectors. She also facilitated paleoclimate food web research using stable isotopes, supported nature-based coastal restoration projects, and led community engagement initiatives focused on marine sustainability. Inspired by interfaith spirituality, Renée strives to help cultivate a safe and healthy future for all.
